Velho Barreiros Cachaça Gold is produced in the state of San Paulo, Brazil, from highly selected sugar cane juice. After a two-step distillation, this cachaça remains for 6 months in traditional abarco barrels before being bottled on tap: this wood gives the spirit unique characteristics of depth, flavour and harmony.
With a light golden yellow colour, Velho Barreiros Cachaça Gold opens to the nose with delicate aromas of citrus, ripe pear and green apple. In the mouth it is elegant and balanced, with a very smooth finish with pleasant persistence.
This Cachaça, in addition to being used for the famous Caipirinha, is the perfect base for Batida, the most popular long drink in Brazil.
