Since 2016, the liqueur has been made using the same recipe as in 1871.

Jefferson Amaro Importante. The story goes that after surviving the shipwreck, he found refuge in the old bonded warehouse (Vecchio Magazzino Doganale).
It was he who had selected and collected citrus fruits, aromatic spices and herbs from all over Calabria.
Today all of this is reproduced again in an authentic way, paying close attention to details.
Bergamot, sweet and sour oranges, rosemary and oregano, are the basic and natural ingredients from Calabria.
Combined with other herbs and spices, they make the unique Jefferson.
